Presenting the New Pallas Vision: Made-in-Paris Tuxedos; Made for Every Day

Every woman should have a tuxedo. From its historic location in the 9th arrondissement, Pallas has been redefining this iconic garment for upwards of 50 years. A family business over two generations, the Pallas jacket is legendary – a point of reference for luxury brands and a must-have for many celebrities. Today, under new direction from Adrienne Smith and Chiara Federico, Pallas breathes new life into its mastery with contemporary flair, meticulous care and Parisian savoir-faire.

Having met while working at the luxury Italian jewellery maison, Pomellato, Adrienne and Chiara are dedicated to preserving the craftmanship of Pallas and all the magic of its original atelier. Their vision begins by shifting our perception of the tuxedo: beyond evening, beyond formal, beyond masculine.

This is not a reinvention. Rather, the collection blends Pallas’ past and present, as Adrienne and Chiara delved into the archives with wonderment and respect to select the most iconic, easy-to-wear, chic and modern shapes of jackets, trousers and coats, which they revisited as updated, versatile silhouettes. Prototypes were then developed with subtle updates: the placement of buttons on a jacket; pants that do wonders for legs of all shapes and sizes; coats that complete a look with polished allure. In addition to premium wool drape and grain de poudre, tuxedos will be proposed in a range of fabrics that are unexpected, sumptuous and statement-making.

We love the idea of a tuxedo being sophisticated and cool, practical and empowering,” they say. “You are always put-together, always feeling confidently dressed. In an instant, you look fabulous.”

Styles can be combined and purchased as ensembles or single pieces. To start, the collection will roll out in the Pallas showroom, at trunk shows and on the Pallas website.

From its timeless treasures to its exceptional construction, Pallas is singular in its niche expertise of a garment that has always embodied fashion at its finest. Formally informal; informally formal. Day-to-night; night-to-day. Every day.
