Arizona Muse, Eva Herzigova, Doina Ciobanu, Camille Charriere, Niomi Smart, Mary Charteris, Hermione Corfield, Pixie Lott, Carlo Capasa, Kim Hersov, Danielle Copperman, Tess Ward, Rosanna Falconer, Julia Hobbs e molti altri si sono uniti oggi ad Alberta Ferretti e Livia Firth per il lancio della collezione “Love Me” presso Mr Fogg’s House of Botanicals, Londra.
Pioniera di una mentalità eco-consapevole nel settore moda – nel 2011 aveva presentato la sua prima collezione sostenibile nata dalla collaborazione con l’attrice britannica Emma Watson – Alberta Ferretti si impegna ora ad avviare un processo di integrazione della sostenibilità che coinvolga l’intero processo produttivo e si spinga anche oltre, incoraggiando i consumatori a fare scelte sempre più consapevoli e responsabili dal punto di vista ambientale.

La collezione “Love Me”, disponibile in anteprima esclusiva su albertaferretti.comdal 15 aprile, nella settimana che precede l’Earth Day, è un messaggio di amore e rispetto nei confronti di Madre Terra e tutti gli esseri viventi che lo abitano. La collezione si compone di morbidi maglioni in cachemire riciclato, t-shirt, pantaloni e gonne in cotone organico caratterizzati da messaggi che vogliono stimolare la riflessione sull’urgenza che ha assunto il problema ecologico a livello mondiale. Ogni capo è stato realizzato con materiali accuratamente selezionati, con certificazioni che garantiscono l’origine riciclata della materia, l’utilizzo di tessuti biologici e una riduzione dell’uso di sostanze chimiche. La stessa attenzione è stata posta anche ai dettagli: le etichette sono in tessuto riciclato e il packaging è compostabile così da ridurre ulteriormente l’impatto ambientale post-acquisto.
