Ellementi SS 2019 Collection

The S | S 2019 collection is realized through the observation, on a special december day, of costanza, covered with a white wool dress, clearly knitted by hand, probably by her grandmother, busy to play with her. The attentive little girl of the age of four, made me jump in the past and it occurred to me when in that magical night my mother handed me a big japanese box, completely blue with inside: a can of felt-tip pens, pencils and watercolors, a pack of white sheets and a completely red, waxed plastic gown. regardless of the precise directives given to me, I decided to use those felt-tip pens on my bare arms as white sheets and to draw several lines. I, infinitely happy with the gift, my mother furious with herself for the choice made.
It is from this singular moment that the flash collection begins to take shape, composed of a color chart that develops between white, cream, blue and red.

The fabrics used are 100% natural to maintain the idea of a time when the synthetic composition were rare, however integrating the choice of adopting contrasting fabrics such as coated cotton and pvc.

The knitting is purled and made by hand _with the use of irons_, takes shape with a mix of organic cotton and linen.

The closure of each garment is tailored according to the fabric of the same: the buttons, in fact, in some cases are covered with the same fabric of the dress. In others, however, transparent pvc is used. other times, the closure is defined by a cotton ribbon that fits into buttonholes.

The volumes of the collection are large, but with the desire to highlight the right female points, resulting so soft and comfortable.

The accessories chosen to enrich the collection take shape through reinterpretation: the necklace, in fact, consists of two plastic handles covered in copper leaf, joined by gros-grain ribbons also _available in transparent version_. The small shoulder bag, closable by a hook, can be easily adjusted through a gros-grain bow.
