Discover Imperio, Leandro Cano’s latest FW20 collection

The latest commercial collection of the Spanish designer is an ode to the powerful, nocturnal woman and the campaign is a creative and emotional take on quarantine

“Quarantine; virus; isolation; silence; family; sadness; anxiety; emptiness…, are some of the words that have echoed in my head for exactly 68 days…, 68 long days in which the only one that has not restricted me when I could go out, where I could go and what I could do, has been my imagination. With her, I flew in business to visit my family in the first days, then she took me for a walk in Paris or to bathe in Formentera. When I got tired, she took me to more mundane locations like the house of old loves, or the bars where I laughed until I fell.”
-Leandro Cano

Imperio, is the first proposal that Leandro Cano brings us for the autumn winter 2020/21. Collection shows the most rogue and nocturnal part of the icon women presented in Paris last March.

The thread of the collection is the red carnation and shows us the elegance of the universe of the folkloric outfits created by Leandro but with a modern twist.

Although red is the thread of the collection, we can find some of the prints consisting of carnations with a rain of coins that include the logo of the firm on one side and a hand with the position of the palm on the other, which have been specially designed for this collection. These coins will be used in the line of jewelry that the brand will introduce soon.

With all of this, Imperio is an ode to the long nights of partying, which joined with the day, and brought mystery and fun to the legends that revolve around these great artists.
